Young Producers

Young Producers are the heart of Shout Out Loud. Their ideas, creativity and interests help to shape and steer the Shout Out Loud project.

This is a programme designed to support young people who are passionate about the role of heritage in society. Young Producers volunteer their time, sharing their energy, experience and enthusiasm to help more young people find their place in England’s story.

Meet the Young Producers

Find out a bit more about some of our young producers here; who they are, why they are involved in Shout Out Loud, and what they have been up to as part of the programme.

Young Producers are really important to the success of the project and valued members of English Heritage.

Everyone is unique, and so each Young Producer has their own bespoke programme tailored to their interests and needs to make sure that participating is enjoyable, relevant and manageable.

Digital meet-ups, virtual tours of English Heritage sites and contact with the national Young Producer network are important ways to get involved. Over the next year the Young Producers will be presenting on our YouTube Channel, writing blogs and shadowing English Heritage Staff to learn more about heritage careers and when sites open again, there will be expert-led site visits and an annual residential too.

Three Young Producer Regional Hubs around the country make it easy to participate, no matter where you live, and all the costs of taking part are covered!

Think you have what it takes to be a Young Producer? We want to hear from you, especially if you feel your background is currently under-represented in heritage projects. If you want to know more just drop us a message.
