Our projects create new ways to explore our history and discover some of the most important heritage sites in England.

From Stonehenge in Wiltshire to Berwick Barracks in Northumberland, we are making art, developing new plays, films, soundscapes, and exhibitions all inspired by England’s rich heritage.

Speak Out

Between May and July 2021, we worked once again with Nugent, a charity that cares for, educates, and protects vulnerable children, young people and young adults. Our focus this time was 'Speak Out.' In this project, we focused on historic peace and protest movements. Using these as inspiration, we explored how to use art and creativity to communicate what was really important to us.

Festival of Archaeology 2021

This year, we teamed up once more with Council for British Archaeology for their Festival of Archaeology. Working together, we delivered four activity days for young people across the country.

Fast Fashion Part 2

In October 2021 we visited Stott Park Bobbin Mill in the Lake District with 14 members of the Kendal Home Educated Group. During our day on site, we explored the social and environmental impact of the fashion industry over the last 250 years by taking part in a series of creative activities designed by the participants of part one of our Fast Fashion project.

Fast Fashion – Part 1

Between February and July 2021, we worked with 6 students from Mercia School in Sheffield on 'Fast Fashion'. Together we explored the social and environmental impact of the fashion industry over the last 250 years, using Stott Park Bobbin Mill in the Lake District as inspiration.

Protest & Protection

Over summer 2021 we worked on the ‘Protest & Protection’ project with The Snappy Trust, a charity based in York dedicated to maximising the potential of children and young people with wide-ranging disabilities. We worked with 16 members of Snappy using art and creative writing we explored Cold War protest movements and York’s elusive Cold War Bunker.
