My found Megalodon tooth

When I was five, I discovered something so amazing: a piece of whale bone and a megalodon tooth.

I live in an area that is known for its shark teeth and fossil finds. I was walking along the beach with my family, by the cliffs, when I came across them. I was just speechless and amazed that I found it!

I was [featured] on the local website and leaflets as I [was only] the fifth person in my area to find one that big (bigger ones have been found since). I continued finding objects and different fossils so everyone spoke to me about looking into archaeology.

I came across the Young Archaeologists Club so I signed up to it, my nearest club being Colchester. I am now a Young Volunteer Leader and my love for fossils and archaeology continues to grow.
